KAA-MaCC Community Conversations on Education

Symposium with College Presidents

We are thrilled to announce that this year's symposium, themed "Securing a Future in Higher Education,"  will feature a roundtable discussion moderated by the esteemed Dr. Lester A. McCorn, President of Clinton College. Esteemed college presidents will join us to share their insights, strategies, and visions for the future of higher education. This is an incredible opportunity to hear from some of the most influential leaders in education today.

  • Dr. Vergel L. Lattimore, Hood Theological Seminary
  • Dr. Carol S. Spalding, Rowan Cabarrus Community College
  • Dr. Anthony Davis, Livingstone College
  • President Chris V. Rey, J.D., Barber-Scotia College
  • Dr. Scott Bullard, Pfeiffer University
  • Chancellor Darrell T. Allison, J.D., Fayetteville State University

Why should you attend?

  • Engage with Educational Leaders: Gain unique perspectives from college presidents on the challenges and opportunities facing higher education.
  • Network: Connect with educators, students, community leaders, and like-minded individuals during our networking reception.
  • Be Inspired: Discover innovative ideas and strategies to help secure a bright future for higher education.

Whether you're a student, educator, organization, or community member, your voice and presence are valuable to this important conversation.

✨ Let’s come together September 5, 2024 at the Hood Theological Seminary, Aymer Center, to shape the future of education! ✨
