Join KAA-MaCC in celebrating the extraordinary achievements of African-American women. An esteemed panel of judges will select local women to be recognized, uplifted, and honored at the May 31, 2025 exhibition. Don't miss this opportunity to shine a spotlight on those who have made a difference in our communities!
For generations, African-American women have been the backbone of our communities—leaders in education, business, civic engagement, healthcare, faith-based communities, and the arts. Despite their profound influence, many of their stories remain untold.
As part of the Women of a New Tribe Exhibition, KAA-MaCC is thrilled to introduce the premiere edition of the Who’s Who in Cabarrus-Rowan Magazine, a bi-annual publication dedicated to honoring the achievements and contributions of African-American women in Cabarrus and Rowan Counties.
What to Expect in the Premiere Edition:
🔹 Spotlight on WNT Honorees – In-depth profiles of the selected women, highlighting their journeys, accomplishments, and impact.
🔹 Community Changemakers – Features on local women making a difference in education, healthcare, entrepreneurship, and advocacy.
🔹 Historical Legacy – Stories of trailblazing women from past generations whose contributions laid the foundation for today’s progress.
🔹 Inspiring the Future – A look at the next generation of leaders, scholars, and visionaries shaping Cabarrus and Rowan Counties.
This magazine is not just a publication—it’s a legacy piece that ensures the stories of strength, resilience, and excellence are preserved for future generations.
