Celebrating Excellence

For generations, African-American women have been the backbone of our communities—leaders in education, business, civic engagement, healthcare, faith-based communities, and the arts. Despite their profound influence, many of their stories remain untold.

As part of the Women of a New Tribe Exhibition, KAA-MaCC is thrilled to introduce the premiere edition of the Who’s Who in Cabarrus-Rowan Magazine, a bi-annual publication dedicated to honoring the achievements and contributions of African-Americans in Cabarrus and Rowan Counties, North Carolina.

What to Expect in the Premiere Edition:

🔹 Spotlight on WNT Honorees – In-depth profiles of the selected women, highlighting their journeys, accomplishments, and impact.
🔹 Community Changemakers – Features on local women making a difference in education, healthcare, entrepreneurship, and advocacy.
🔹 Historical Legacy – Stories of trailblazing women from past generations whose contributions laid the foundation for today’s progress.
